About Me

Hi!  I’m Alex, a 66-year-old woman living in the beautiful south-western part of British Columbia.  I enjoy publishing, web design, live music, music videos,  photography, reading, writing, swimming, crosswords, cafe and - let’s not forget - the perfect vodka martini! 🍸 



 

My educational journey began with two years in Liberal Arts, where I built a strong foundation in critical thinking and communication. I later expanded my skill set through extensive experience in web design, as well as newspaper and newsletter production, complemented by an interest in photographic arts. This blend of academic study and creative practice has shaped my ability to tell stories through both visual and written media.

I’ve always been drawn to creativity in many forms, and music — above all — fills my heart with joy.  I love almost every genre, and have countless favorite artists I’m excited to share. I’m also an avid YouTuber who enjoys discovering both new talent and timeless classics.  And YouTube is honestly the perfect playground — deep cuts, live sessions, weird algorithm gems at 2 a.m., artists with 2k views who somehow change your whole mood.
