Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson (born 7 April 1990) is an English singer and songwriter celebrated for her sharp pop hooks, candid lyrics, and genre-blending sound.

She rose to prominence in the mid-2010s with hit singles including “Alarm” (2016), “Ciao Adios” (2017), “Friends” (2018), and “2002” (2018), later following up with “Don’t Play” and “Kiss My (Uh-Oh)” in 2021. Her feature on Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye” (2016) became a global smash, topping charts worldwide and reaching number one in the UK.

Anne-Marie’s debut album, Speak Your Mind (2018), peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart, establishing her as a leading voice in contemporary British pop. She followed with Therapy (2021) and Unhealthy (2023), both debuting at number two in the UK, showcasing a more introspective and emotionally direct approach to songwriting.

Critically recognised as well as commercially successful, Anne-Marie has earned ten Brit Award nominations—including four in 2019 for Best British Female Solo Artist—alongside nominations for a Billboard Music Award and a Grammy Award.

Signed to Asylum Records since 2015, she has also expanded her profile through television, serving as a coach on The Voice UK from 2021 to 2023, mentoring emerging artists and reinforcing her influence within the UK music scene.
